The Adele Olu of Ilaro, High Chief Abiodun Olalekan Ilo, has commended the League of Yewa-Awori Media Practitioners (LOYAMP) for its renewed commitment to promoting the interests of Ogun West through credible and consistent journalism.
Speaking from the United States in an online interview with Abu-Satar Hamed of StarTrend International Magazine, High Chief Ilo said he was impressed by the quality and frequency of publications emerging from various platforms led by LOYAMP members. He noted that many of these reports have amplified the developmental strides of Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi) and other notable personalities from the region.
He urged the media professionals to sustain their efforts by promoting not just Senator Adeola Yayi’s aspirations, but also those of other distinguished sons and daughters of Ogun West, in order to advance the region’s collective goals.
High Chief Ilo also advised LOYAMP to guard its reputation by avoiding reports that could compromise its credibility or integrity within the media landscape.
Expressing confidence in the competence of the group, the traditional leader applauded the calibre of its members, particularly its National Coordinator, Otunba Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, whom he described as a seasoned and highly influential journalist. According to him, LOYAMP’s revitalization has strengthened the presence of a “dedicated Fourth Estate of the Realm” within Ogun West.
He called on sons and daughters of Ogun West, as well as residents across Ogun State and Nigeria, to support LOYAMP so the organization can continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of the region and the nation at large.
