Educraft Global Impact Initiatives has conferred the Global Royal Impact Award on Professor Chief Dr. Rotarian Jackie Adunni Kassim, Iyalode Igbore, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the preservation and promotion of African culture, creative leadership and youth empowerment.
The organisation also named Dr. Kassim as the Global Impact Ambassador of Culture and announced her appointment as Matron of the Educraft Global Creativity Cluster Initiative (EGCCI).
According to a statement issued by Educraft Global Impact Initiatives, the award recognises Dr. Kassim's commitment to advancing African cultural heritage, mentoring emerging talents and promoting creativity as a catalyst for sustainable development and global understanding.
The organisation said the recognition aligns with its long-term vision of "Sustainable Youth Growth Towards 2030," an initiative designed to equip African youths, artisans, entrepreneurs and local producers with opportunities to access international exhibitions, business networks and global markets.
Educraft noted that Africa's rich cultural heritage, indigenous knowledge and creative industries remain critical drivers of economic transformation, job creation and international collaboration.
As part of the Educraft Global Creativity Cluster Initiative, the organisation is promoting the development of African-made products and local enterprises across key sectors, including Adire textile production, interior décor, fashion accessories, agriculture, agro-processing, creative arts and local manufacturing.
The initiative aims to help young people convert their talents into sustainable businesses while preserving traditional skills and expanding market opportunities for locally produced goods.
Educraft said it also intends to connect African creatives and entrepreneurs with international cultural festivals, exhibitions and business showcases, including relevant FESTAC-related opportunities, to enhance global visibility for African products and cultural identity.
The organisation described Dr. Kassim's appointment as Global Impact Ambassador of Culture as consistent with its mission to celebrate cultural excellence, encourage mentorship and inspire a new generation of African creatives, innovators and entrepreneurs.
It further called on governments, traditional institutions, development partners, private-sector organisations and international stakeholders to collaborate in promoting cultural exchange, entrepreneurship, skills development and sustainable youth empowerment across Africa.
Educraft Global Impact Initiatives reaffirmed its commitment to building a future in which African youths can preserve their cultural heritage, acquire practical skills, establish successful enterprises and confidently showcase their creativity on the global stage through the Educraft Global Creativity Cluster Initiative.
