Raliat Popoola Foundation partner Lebanese Women Association to Empower over 100 Women in Abuja

It was a carnival like as Raliat Popoola Foundation in collaboration with Lebanese Women Association in Nigeria ably led by the wife of the Ambassador of Lebanon to Nigeria carried out an empowerment and humanitarian outreach to women, widows and less privilege as part of their commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting compassion-driven service.

Essential items distributed during the empowerment and humanitarian outreach is aimed at easing the daily struggles faced by the women, widows and less privilege.

Speaking during the outreach, the founder of Raliat Popoola Foundation, Chief Mrs Ladun Adekunle emphasized that the initiative was inspired by a shared belief in empathy, social responsibility, and the need to give back to society. She noted that the gesture was not only about material support but also about reminding the widows and less privilege that they are not forgotten and that there are individuals and groups who genuinely care about their well-being.

The team interacted warmly with them, listened to their stories, and offered words of encouragement, especially to women and widows who form a significant portion of our society.

The atmosphere was one of hope and gratitude, as beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the items received.

The NGO further reaffirmed their commitment to continuing similar outreach efforts across different communities.

The outreach concluded with a renewed call for compassion, collective responsibility, and sustained support for women as they work towards rebuilding their lives.
