Renowned education consultant and student mobility expert, Mrs. Armelle Edjo, has been honoured with the Global Impact Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education, career guidance and the promotion of global academic opportunities for young people.
The award, presented under the theme "Mothers in the Service of a Better World," celebrates women whose professional achievements and commitment to societal development have made a lasting impact within their communities and beyond.
Edjo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cedar-O Cabinet Conseil, a Cotonou-based educational consultancy she established in 2015. Through the firm, she has guided thousands of students and professionals in academic and career planning, study-abroad opportunities, and admissions into international business schools and engineering institutions.
With extensive experience in educational consulting, Edjo has built a reputation for helping students make informed academic and professional choices while strengthening international educational partnerships.
Before founding Cedar-O Cabinet Conseil, she served for more than six years as Head of Student Affairs (Responsable Service Scolarité) at ESGIS Benin, where she played a key role in student administration and academic support services.
Beyond her consultancy work, Edjo is widely recognised as a public speaker and advocate for career development. She has addressed several professional forums, including the U.S. Embassy's Federal Women's Promotion Program, where she delivered a presentation on "Self-promotion for one's own professional development." The event featured prominent national leaders, including Benin's Vice President, Mariam Chabi Talata Zime Yerima.
Organisers of the Global Impact Leadership Award said the honour acknowledges Edjo's unwavering dedication to expanding access to quality education, empowering young people through career guidance, and promoting international academic mobility.
The recognition further highlights her influence as one of West Africa's leading education consultants, whose work continues to inspire students, parents and educational institutions across the region.
