The election, which was concluded on Sunday, followed weeks of nominations, acceptance of nominations and presentation of manifestoes by aspirants seeking various leadership positions within the group.
Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Professor Funke Akinkurolere, announced the results of the online election, which attracted participation from more than 200 members of the over 800-member professional body.
According to the results, Dr. Morakinyo Oloyede was elected President. The organisation said it was established to mobilise professionals across Ogun West in support of the governorship aspiration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 election.
It stated that since its formation, the group has organised community voter education programmes, media engagements and public awareness campaigns aimed at sensitising residents and encouraging greater participation in the electoral process.
With the emergence of the new leadership, the organisation said it would intensify its programmes and mobilisation efforts, with the goal of delivering at least 500,000 votes for Senator Adeola from Ogun West Senatorial District during the 2027 governorship election.
Members of the forum, in separate online interviews, commended the Electoral Committee for conducting what they described as a transparent and well-coordinated electoral process.
The group added that the date for the formal inauguration of the newly elected executive committee would be announced in due course.
