ABUJA – Flybird Group is set to showcase its advanced drone technology and unveil plans to expand into offshore aviation services at the 25th NOG Energy Week Conference and Exhibition, holding from July 5 to 9, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
The company said the exhibition marks a significant step in its strategy to broaden its footprint across the aviation and energy sectors through its Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) division.
According to the firm, Flybird RPAS provides intelligent aerial solutions for the oil and gas, infrastructure, utilities, mining and maritime industries, helping organisations improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, reduce inspection costs and minimise personnel exposure to high-risk environments through the use of unmanned aircraft.
Chief Executive Officer of Flybird RPAS, Chanel Scott, said the growing adoption of drone technology across the energy sector underscores its importance in modern industrial operations.
She noted that the conference provides an opportunity for the company to demonstrate its capabilities, build strategic partnerships and highlight the ability of indigenous firms to deliver aviation technology solutions that meet international standards.
Also speaking, Group Head of Corporate Services at Flybird Group, Dr. Tracy Wilson, described the conference as an important platform for strengthening relationships with stakeholders and showcasing the company's expanding portfolio of integrated aviation services.
She said Flybird Group remains focused on operational excellence, strong corporate governance and creating long-term value for clients and partners as it expands across aircraft management, RPAS operations, offshore helicopter services and aviation support.

The company also announced plans to expand into offshore helicopter services across West Africa, offering personnel transportation, logistics support, emergency response, aerial surveillance and other specialised aviation services for offshore energy operators.
