Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola has reaffirmed his commitment to progressive leadership, party unity, and national development following his participation in the 2026 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmaker, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District, made the declaration on Saturday at Eagle Square, Abuja, where the ruling party held its convention.

The event drew party leaders, elected officials, stakeholders, and thousands of members from across the country. It served as a platform to strengthen internal cohesion, review achievements, and outline strategies for the party’s future.

Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, attended the gathering alongside his wife, Temitope Adeola, joining other key stakeholders in reaffirming loyalty to the party’s ideals and shared vision.

Speaking on the significance of the convention, the senator described it as a moment for reflection, renewed unity, and recommitment to the founding principles of the party.

He said the convention provided an opportunity to assess progress made so far and to refocus efforts on delivering meaningful outcomes for Nigerians.

“As Yayi, I remain resolute in strengthening our shared vision, advancing progressive ideals, and delivering meaningful results for the people we serve,” he said.

Adeola added that members of the party were leaving the convention more united, focused, and committed to a greater future.

Observers noted that the convention reinforced alliances within the party and revitalised members ahead of future political activities.

They also expressed the view that the senator’s message underscored consistency in leadership, dedication to service delivery, and a strong commitment to national and state development.

The convention concluded with renewed enthusiasm among party faithful, as leaders emphasised unity, inclusive governance, and sustained efforts toward national progress.
