OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos
SGX Mobility has donated an electric tricycle to the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation as part of its contribution to promoting sustainable transportation in the state.
Speaking during the presentation, the General Manager of SGX Mobility, Mr. Femi Oyefodunrin, noted that the electric tricycle was specifically built for Nigerian roads and has been tested for durability and efficiency.
According to him, the tricycle is powered by a 4.0 KVA battery capable of covering a minimum distance of 60 kilometers on a full charge. He added that the battery comes with a charger, power bank and requires approximately 4 to 5 hours to fully recharge.
Receiving the tricycle on behalf of the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olawale Musa, expressed appreciation to SGX Mobility for the donation, stating that the gesture aligns with the state’s vision of promoting eco-friendly transportation alternatives.
Also present at the presentation were the Chief Executive Officer of SGX Mobility, Dr. Ayodele Awofala, and members of staff from the Ministry of Transportation.
