The Octagon Media, publisher of Octagon Nigeria Magazine and the Octagon Online News will be celebrating its 10th anniversary activities on Thursday 4th of May, 2023 at Maridom Hotel, Ilo Awela, Ota.
The two in one event will also feature a special Security and Safety Symposium to enhance stronger synergy and ties among security and safety agencies through improved inter-agency collaboration in information sharing and meaningful partnership.
The event with the theme; National Discourse on Community Policing, Security and Safety, will also honour eminent persons and corporate organisations who made immense and immeasurable contribution in supporting the Nigerian Economy.
The keynote speaker at the Symposium is ACP Sanni Mohammed with the following discussants; CSP Saleh Dahiru, AC Ajibade Ariyo, UC Akeem Ganiyu and Engr. Olugbenga Oluwatoyin.
Notable Nigerians and Corporate organisation who made the list of awardees, include; United Bank of Africa Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, EcoBank, Fidelity Bank, Zenith Bannk, Access Bank, Dangote Group, BUA Group, Ramon Nasir, Olori Felicia Saka, and Engr. Olugbenga Oluwatoyin.

According to the organizer of the event, Olatunji Egbewunmi, the publisher of The Octagon Nig. Magazine stated that the idea of the Symposium as part of this year anniversary and Award ceremony was conceived as a result of the rate insecurity in Nigeria and especially in most of our neighborhood.
Also to serve as a means to educate our people how to identify dangers around our community.
